I am trying to formulate a paper around personalisation and direct payments to clients who receive social care.

I live and work in England but understand that this method of funding is used in America and Europe and was wondering if anybody has any views on the subject. Perhaps may be in receipt of direct payments for care?

I am contacting other local authorities in Southern England but had the bright idea last night of asking you guys for your views, it would give me a much wider perspective.

I would be grateful to anyone who might have experience or knowlegde of this subject.
