He's EVIL!!! I wonder if his wife knows what he's doing?

He flushed out Jack and Sydney
Shut down the Alliance
This I was happy about...now Syd and Jack can just work for CIA.

And And And they killed Francie sad only to replace her with a mole Francie. Sydney is in for some shit now!

I was NOT HAPPY about this. cry I love Francie! Now she's gonna have this clone living with her! Could it be Anna Espenoza with some plastic surgery?

What's going to happen to Dixon? I think Dixon is gonna go into witness protection or the CIA will recruit him, but I hope he forgives Syd -- they're such a great team...they're like family!

Marshall? I think the CIA will recruit Marshall. Remember when Syd said that SD-6 was his whole life?

What's Syd's mom's role in all this?
I dunno about this one...she might be involved, OR maybe she saw it coming and just wanted to see her daughter. I think she really loves Syd and wanted to spend some time with her, but I'm not sure where her loyalty lies

Will's?
I think he has no idea what's going on and he is going to pursue a relationship with the fake Francie. I was so happy that they got together and I can't believe they killed her! POOR Francie! sad

I'm starting to get the feeling that Irina Derevco went to the CIA as part of the whole plot along with Sark... that she purposely fed info to the CIA/Syd/Jack in order to help bring down the Alliance. It would be really messed up, but I'm starting to get that uneasy feeling about it. shake

Have to say that although this episode was treated as another "introduction" for the series for the Super Bowl crowd (dummed down a bit), it was amazing and the series strengthened to its form midway through the hour. At the end, when Syd and Vaughn kissed, thought it was a dream sequence. And with Francie being murdered, wow.

I still have my suspicions about Irina Derevko, Syd's mom. She was not shown in the episode but Lena Olin was mentioned in the credits.

Wondering if Sloane is "The Man" after all of this.

Remember "the letter" Sark produced for Sloane in Japan? Did the letter mean anything to this elaborate plan Sloane is conducting?

Wondering if Emily Sloane has had some plastic surgery done to look like Francie. Or could it be Anna Espenoza?

Regardless, the second half of ALIAS Season 2 is going to be another whirlwind to the finish.

I still think that The Alliance will form up again, somehow.

I thought that too...but, I still say that she loves her daughter...do you remember when they got back from that mission in India and Syd called her mom...she cried -- and that was after Syd left, so it wasn't a show.
We'll have to see what happens. If Syd and Jack get close to her again and she screws them over, I don't know if they'll be able to take it.

Glad to hear that a DVD of season one is in the works, but I didn't know the show was having ratings problems though and it's third season is still up in the air.

An Alias Movie? Secret Plot Exposed!
Monday, January 27, 2003

If you thought last night's post-Super Bowl episode of Alias was big, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Exec producer J.J. Abrams confirms to TV Guide Online that there have been some informal discussions about transporting Jennifer Garner's double-agent alter ego onto the big screen in an Alias feature film.

"It has come up, and... it's an interesting idea," he says. "My agents have talked to me about it, and I know that they have talked to Disney about it, but it's nothing that is seriously being pursued.

"Given the fact that we try every week to do a movie version of the show, it's not clear to me what we would try to do that we aren't already trying to do," adds the former Felicity auteur, who in addition to his Alias duties, is penning the script to the next Superman pic. "And I wouldn't want to make the show look small by doing a . You have to be careful of that."

Consequently, Alias will most likely arrive in a theater near you after it ends its run on the small screen. Of course, given the drama's ongoing ratings woes, that day might not be too far off. Abrams, however, remains optimistic that ABC will grant Sydney Bristow and Co. a third season.

"I'm betting it will ," he says. "But I haven't heard anything official, and it's up to them to say no. But we're plotting our stories ahead as if we'll get picked up, just as during the first season, we were plotting ahead as if we'd get picked up for a second."

Well, there's one thing Alias fans can count on come fall: The show's first season will be released on DVD. "There are going to be a lot of great special features," he says of the mult-disc set, which is slated to arrive in stores on Sept. 2. "When I filmed the pilot, a good friend of mine shot like eight or nine hours of behind-the-scenes footage and did interviews with most of the cast. So, in addition to a number of other really cool features, we're going to edit together a behind-the-scenes piece on the making of the pilot." — Michael Ausiello
