What can I say - I have rehearsal on Thursday evening! shrug

And last week, when I tried to catch the show On Demand, heavy thunderstorms had knocked the system out. mad

I hope to find time tonight and this weekend to catch up.

Ok so last night......I think the wrong person won the challenge. (I forgot dude's name...the rust colored dress with the big red hat) I didn't get it.... WTF were the judges seeing that I wasn't??? confuse

I thought he actually did well.Though I had my doubts on the color (put together with the hat color) despite what the judges thought.

But these were my favorites:

Amish 3000! For some reason it reminded me of some commune/sect, but it worked. lol

Second time I thought Casanova was gonna fail but ended up making one of my favorites:

I like the top of the polka dot dress, but the bottom is too crinoliney. Remember those? I also like Cassanova's black dress, too. It has classic lines, but didn't Queenie tell him it had been done so many times before? The orange bottomed dress didn't really do it for me though. Liked the top, but the bottom seemed kind of off to me. I loved all the hats except that orchid mess and the black Mardi Gras mask.

I agree on the orange ckrinkly skirt of Michael's outfit. I would've preferred something sleeker. OR PANTS!!! But I think the top is so lovely that it's still a favorite.

The right person went home.
First off, why wouldn't you have done a white outfit to show off that hat. It could have been very beautiful.

The mask I didn't care for either. Or the outfit for it.

I totally thought that the guy that won pulled off a great combo... the rusty-peach dress with the red shimmer hat WORKED and he did it after having to start over. biggrin

My overall favorite was the SF dudes with the grey/silver roses print. Sadly, when he added those fucked up leggings and belt I had to unfriend it... confused

also, Gretchen & Ivy are such BITCHES when they lose... disbelief

I was totally rooting for this. sad

not only was it gorgeous, but it also had a story and a concept, unlike the boring winning dress.

I also thought Mondo's was overlooked, it was really cute:

i'm so not getting the urge to add all the extra drama to the show this season.

i liked it better when they kept all the nastiness for the reunion special.

That silver/gray print fabric was perfect for the hat. It needed to be a dress instead. A simpler outfit with simpler lines. Or the jacket with a pair of very tailored slim pants instead of those leggings.

I REALLY wanted to hear Mondo's explanation for giving his model a moustache... that actually worked really well!

The whole thing (especially the moustache) felt very Moschino.

You know, when he started on that dress with the manequin, I really liked it, but like you, I think he fucked it up with those awful leggings and boots. He should have left well enough alone and had her wear a pair of killer pumps.

total bollocks decision tonight. the producers kept the two bitches in because this show is more about cattiness than fashion.

Mr Gunn calling out Gretchen at the end was scant consolation.

Agree 100% x infinity. pissed

The whole time the vest outfit was on I was singing "And then there's Maude" whistle and then MK called it a Golden Girls vest. It was clearly a Bea Arthur vest. lol

For choosing to do the WORST outfit (the judges all agreed on that) alone, she should've gone home.

She's also a twat. I'd like to punch her in the throat. (If I was a girl, I really wouldn't as a guy boxed). Gretchen is another one. mad Then she acted all butthurt about Tim calling her ass out. hah!
