ok...this is kinda lame..it's harder than I thought it would to try and use so much slang but here goes. So this chooch comes over and asks to bum a butt off me, he hangs around and starts running his yap about how baked he is. I tell him he shouldn't really be blabbing about that cause the cops were just out here. He goes haywire about getting bagged with a pinna once. I told him he was a basket case and should pipe down before he got me in hot water.

Ok here's my attempt:

So this stoner comes over and asks to borrow a cigarette off me, he hangs around and starts banging on about how stoned he is. I tell him he shouldn't really be talking about that cause the police were nearby. He goes haywire about getting arrested with a .... (no idea) ounce? once. I told him he was a nutcase and should shut the fuck up before he got me into trouble.

not sure how I did with a couple of bits there smile

very good! clapping "chooch" is basically an idiot, someone who lacks common sense. so I guess haywire is universal? lol a "pinna" is just a small joint.

Midget Gems are small, hard wine gums (do you have those?)
monster munch are crisps (chips to you) made out of corn starch. Pickled onion flavour are the best!
Kaylai is the same as Rainbow Crystals. Basically caster sugar with citric acid and flavourings added. Spanish is a hard liquourice stick used to dip in said kaylai and Dandelion & burdock is a fizzy drink which is kind of a mix between sarsaparilla and root beer. Ish.

:) I might start doing hampers! Lol

hahaha, these are too funny! But I have to say that I think ROAST BEEF FLAVORED crackers are wack!

I guess the Rainbow Crystals are like the Lik Em's (?) types of candy we used to have, but they were in a paper packet that you'd stick your finger in, not a fancy pants jar. They were also just one flavor, not yummy sherbet flavors!

And those 'hampers' are called picnic baskets, y'all! wink

We'd call that a laundry basket I guess. A Hamper is a picnic basket that has been pre-filled with goodies, indulgent food and usually a bottle of bubbly.

We sometimes give them to relatives at Christmas or weddings. I've made some up myself in the past, just buying one item a week, then boxing it up and sending before Christmas. That way, they don't feel like they cost much all at once, and people love them when they arrive.

Wine gums.

[img:$uid]http://img230.i.../img:$uid]

Chewy, medium hard jello type sweets originally flavoured with wine, port, sherry and the like. Now they just taste a bit of fruit and berries. still good though smile

Those look like "Juicy Fruits!" Fellow Americans, remember that candy that came in a box? If I had techie sense, I'd post a picture, but alas, I'm a dunce

And the stuff you Brits call "Rainbow Crystals" comes in a paper straw wrapper here. I forget what it was called. Basically it was powdered fruit flavored sugar.
