Anyone as stoked as I am about the latest DC Comics DTV film due to be released next Tuesday, "Batman: Under The Red Hood"?

I've seen it already (of course), and I must say it might be the best Batman animated movie EVER. If not the best, then second only to Mask Of The Phantasm! I didn't even care - that much - that Kevin Conroy wasn't Batman again and that Mark Hamill wasn't the Joker; though, Bender from Futurama doing The Joker wasn't a complete home run to me, but not bad at all, either! It just had to take some getting used to.

The one thing I had a problem with in this movie was the lack of blood and bruises and how damn far and high these people can jump and land without any powers whatsoever or even hydraulic help. I mean, they're jumping far distances across roof tops and shit (wearing heavy equipment too, mind you) and they're acting like it's another day at the office. But, that's more of my issue with the Batman animated franchise than anything with this particular film, cuz they've been doing this forever, especially in The Animated Series and forward. BATMAN IS NOT A METAHUMAN!!!! But, with people being in the middle of exploding bombs or being fucked up completely with crow bars, there should've been a helluva lot more blood and guts!! PG-13 rating be damned, bring me the real!

But in spite of those two minor annoyances, this is a very enjoyable movie, and I can't wait for the next DCAU project down the pike, which I believe is called Apocalypse or some shit with Superman, Bats, and Supergirl!!!

For anyone who's seen this already, what did you think??

Huh. I actually have that here ready to watch but haven't gotten around to it yet. Might give it a shot later tonight. If/when I do I'll post a response.

Definitely let me know what you think of it. It was a 1000x better than that GL:FF bullshit they put out last year. lol
