Hearing Dita Von Teese answer my question on CNN yesterday put a smile on my face.
My full question - all of which unfortunately wasn't included - was "Thank you very much for bringing true class back to the art of burlesque. Will you continue to perform for many years to come and thereby show the world that it's not just a young woman's game? Or do you have other plans for the future and if so, what are they?".
The elegant Ms Von Teese offered a thoughtful response as usual. The bottom line was that she has no plans to quit burlesque but that instead of putting together the show and performing in it as she's doing now, she'll eventually focus solely on putting together the show. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will take a long time before she gets to that point.
