Unusual Films That make you cry whenever you see them?

What are the films that you have seen that you think I must be the only person who cries at this here are some of mine.

Religion is for people who believe in Hell Spirituality is for people who have been there.

Seldom do I get teary eyed.

And I'm not sure why I got teary eyed in the movie above. The movie, Uncle Boonmee Who could recall his past lives is ..... strange. It's directed by a Thai director named Apichatpong Weerasethakul, who recently won an award at the Cannes film festival with this movie.

In this movie, Uncle Boonmie who is joined by his sister-in-law, nephew, and a house worker (along with his lost son, who is now a 'monkey ghost' and his dead wife's ghost) goes to his country side house in the North 'Isaan' region of Thailand to live out his remaining days with kidney cancer.

The acting is so-so. The special affects are....very.... VERY amatuerish...and the matter-of-fact way in which the characters interact with a ghost that appears before them at a dinner one night caused a great deal of chuckling in the movie theater from educated Thais as well as westerners.

But there's a very very strange charm to this movie. I found myself transfixed during much of it, trying to understand what the point of the movie was. You don't actually sense a plot in this movie at all....you actually feel as if you're spying on these people...somewhat like in a dream of sorts.

The ending is also very strange and I wasn't able to understand why he chose to end the movie were he did.

But, for some reason, I found myself connecting with Boonmee and the scene above, though not terribly well acted brought tears to my eyes. (He's hugging a ghost there by the way lol ).

Yeah, I'm wierd.

This is the director: http://media.daemonsmovie...thakul.jpg

I'd like to have sex with him sometime.

This one. In the opening scene, when the kids take off on their bicycles and the action is freeze-framed, I am instantly 10 years old again.

Heck, I'm tearing up right now, just imagining the scene.

I cry in that movie when Leeloo jumps off the window ledge. I think how desperate things must be that a freefall seems an only option (9/11 for example) but my husband argues that she knows she is the supreme being and won't be hurt, but at that point to me she doesn't know yet. And when the blue singing lady is killed cry

From about 3:45 to 5:10 in this clip and a couple parts later on.

This scene here from 1:30 on

I guess I have a soft spot for animated killing machines with broken English

I cried a couple of times during Crooklyn, especially near the end when the little girl sleep-walks/wakes up all disorientated and expecting to see her mother cry

ET I always cry at the end when he leaves, I used to play-rewind the last scene on video so it played backwards and looked like the spaceship lands again and ET comes back lol

I couldn't stand it when Drago beat Apollo Creed to death. disbelief I still tear up to this day when I watch it. Although, the tears dry up when you see Stallone's sexy ass in those tight black pants when he was training in Russia. He was one sexy muthfucka in this installment of Rocky. nod

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
