Super Bowl parties are obnoxious. Filled with obnoxious people. Acting obnoxiously. I try to stay away from obnoxious people who may potentially and obnoxiously kill me. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |

Every game closer to the Super Bowl, penalties make more of a difference. Mistakes and flags seem so magnified on the biggest stage. Oakland has shown an alarming trend toward more penalties in recent weeks, including 14 for 127 yards against Tennessee. Will the Raiders avoid the penalties at key times? If they don’t, it will catch up to them. If the Titans hadn’t turned the ball over, they would have won because the Raiders were committing penalties at crucial times.
