In the past ten years I've gone from the North (Wisconsin), to the West (California), to the South (Texas), to the East (Maryland)....so I could do it. Actually I thought it'd be fun to go all Bobby Fisher on everyone and just leave to some random country without even a farewell....except my daughter. She can come with.

As a kid, we never moved. I went to college relatively close to home, and then took a risk and moved halfway across the country for school. I have lived a lot of places since..with my husband, and our child.....serving God through leading churches, ...you move. But you have to have a sense of it being the right thing to do...

its always hard . Its lonely. But we have found blessings wherever we have lived. I have my husband and my child. Thats all I need.

Yeah when you have an intact family with you...it's much better in my opinion. But then at the same time you not only have to worry about your happiness, but the happiness of your spouse and kid. Oh well.

Exactly. And now that our son is in school, another move would take a lot of thought, prayer, etc, even more than the other moves did.

Umm.. yes, I would love to live in another country! Maybe just for a year or two. And I definitely think I could do it, though I would miss my family and friends at home.

But of course that's easy for me to say, I'm only 14 yet.. razz

Oh, you play guitar?
Excuse me, while I take my clothes off..

Maybe think about doing a student exchange if you can. It's one thing I regret not doing when I was at school.

My wife and kid are significantly more anchored to our current location than I am. Apart from their wishes, I could definitely see myself moving far away for a bit.

I recently moved across town and it's lonely as hell and I have family here and two or three friends who I rarely see anymore. I miss the atmosphere of the side of town that I used to live in.

As for moving to another city, I'd love to live up north in a huge city like New York or out west in a city like Los Angeles but I would have to make enough money to live in an area of town that I wouldn't be afraid to live in or be afraid that my place would get broken into. There's certainly no individual keeping me here because most of the family that I care about have already died. Lack of money is what keeps me here.

As for moving to another country....never. From what I've seen on TV, all the other countries look boring as hell except for maybe Canada. But no, I would never leave the United States.

I could do it. I'd enjoy moving to a new country/continent and I think the challenge of it would be good for me. But at this point, I'd probably only do it for love or money (meaning a good job).

But you know, if someone like Vivid or Herman or The Void said, "Hey, move on over here!" I'd give it some serious consideration.

lol That's the funniest thing I've read in a long while.

Ugly old ancient buildings and churches that are centuries old. Countrysides. Castles. bored Hell, tear all that old ancient shit down, concrete those boring lonely looking countrysides up, and fill the space with skyscrapers. lol

The only foreign country that looks live as hell to me is Japan with it's ultra modern buildings. I absolutely love the way it looks but I'd be bored as hell because everything is in a foreign language I wouldn't be able to communicate with anybody. Plus, I ain't going nowhere that doesn't have a large black population with some good times, shit talkin', and plenty of ass shakin' jams. lol
