I moved 3,000 miles away from my home with absolutely no social structures in place. I sometimes regret it, but I have more now than I could have ever had if I not relocated.

I would move abroad if the right opportunity came up. I'd do it in a heartbeat. You only live once.

Wow.

Whereabouts did you move to and from, if you don't mind my asking?

I moved from New York to California (3,000 miles).

Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

As a kid, we never moved. I went to college relatively close to home, and then took a risk and moved halfway across the country for school. I have lived a lot of places since..with my husband, and our child.....serving God through leading churches, ...you move. But you have to have a sense of it being the right thing to do...

its always hard . Its lonely. But we have found blessings wherever we have lived. I have my husband and my child. Thats all I need.

I've just moved from Auckland to Sydney in the last couple of months, basically because I didn't want to do another shit NZ winter, but it rained everyday for the first 3 weeks and Sydney had the coldest morning in 63 years or some shit like that neutral

I love this city but we'll probably end up going up to the Gold Coast, just that little bit warmer again.

Yeah when you have an intact family with you...it's much better in my opinion. But then at the same time you not only have to worry about your happiness, but the happiness of your spouse and kid. Oh well.

I would absolutely.

I moved 700 miles to be with a man. If I felt that strongly again, I would definitely do it.

Where did you move from?

I don't think I could do that.

Yes. I moved from a tiny farm town to Chicago - where I didn't know a single person - after college. A few years later I moved to NYC where I knew about 4 people. If the right job presented itself I'd move again; but it'd have to be to a big city - Paris, preferably. No way I could downsize after living in New York.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I'd rather not. But I know a few people I wish would move far away. lol

One of my main reasons for going was to live away from my family. I was interested in the challenge of living somewhere with no support network, where nobody knows anything about you - it brought me an immense feeling of liberation. My family's cool though - in their way.
