Was this wrong of Me? (imago edition) Me and a friend of mine stopped by a gas station the other day.
It was one of those gas stations on the way to Pataya beach, which caters to foreigners and tourists.
While browsing one of the small, but surprisingly adequate CD shops, she came accross Prince's NEW POWER SOUL album, and asked me if she should purchase it.
"I've always wanted to get into Prince after seeing how much you appreciate him, " she said.
The CD price was 400 baht, which amounts to approximately 12 US dollars.
"Sure, " I said. "It's a terrific album. You should go ahead and purchase it."
Now, we all as orgers know that NEW POWER SOUL can be found at Target for 4.99 or less, and that the real value of the music on that album is around 50 cents. So she was paying astronomical prices for an album Kevin Trudoux couldn't figure out how to sell.
Was I wrong for doing this?
I mean, it's not like we stole gas or anything with a prepaid card. I don't wan't to end up in the "Bangkok Hilton" or anything.

No, it is not wrong. This is a classic case of caveat emptor - let the buyer beware. If your friend does not know the true value of that piece of shit, you are not responsible for her dumbfuckery.
