I read Stoudemire's not thrilled at the prospect of playing for 'No-D' D'Anfraudi again.

from ESPN:

The Nets traded Yi Jianlian to the Wizards, with cash, in exchange for Quinton Ross.

Dirk just notified the Mavs he's opting out of the final year of his contract.

ESPN just guesstimated that Chris Bosh does not want to be an undersized 5 and would prefer to play on a team with a real center - like, say the Houston Rockets. The Rockets could then trade a couple players like Luis Scola and Shane Battier, and LeBron James all of a sudden becomes interested in being on a team that features Yao at center, Bosh at power forward, James at small forward, Kevin Martin at shooting guard, and Aaron Brooks at point guard.

I don't know what the salary cap implications are, but WOWSA! That would be a heckuva team.

I could also see the Rockets going after Dirk, just because of the irony.

Bron won't sign with Houston. My bet is, Bron lands in Chi.

I don't think so either and frankly, I don't think I'd want him. But it's an interesting scenario.

I think he signs with the Knicks. If his ego is as big as they say, then he's going to realize that to ever be the man in Chicago, he has to win 7 titles. But he can win one in New York and be a god for the rest of his natural life.

But his ego won't allow him to not win a title, and that just may happen in NY. I think he goes for the sure thing and he's not really concerned with equalling or eclipsing MJ's legacy.

If we go thru all of this HYPE 4 the past 2 plus years and Lebron and Wade stay put on their current teams this will make a mockery of the nonsense surrounding free agency.

I'm betting Wade stay put on I'm 75% convinced that Lebron does also.

They don't want him to walk for nothing next season when he becomes a FA.

Doc Rivers is coming back next season, but Pierce is opting out.

According to WFAN, Amar'e's opting out too.

Talk is that Pierce will probably resign a new max 4 year deal with Boston providing

the rest of the pieces are still there.

Why in the world would they give Paul a 4 year deal? Bad move on Boston's part.

Terrible decision. He could barely drag himself across the finish line in the Finals, and was a non-factor in at least 50% of the playoff games this season. They'd be nuts to give him that much money, but as a Laker fan, I say go right ahead.

Well, that doesn't necessarily mean LBJ-to-Miami is a done deal but the biggest bargaining chip that teams like the Knicks or Chicago had is now off the table.

Sad to say, but true. Isaiah Thomas might be the guy most responsible for the Knicks not getting LeBron.
