great trade by the Hornets.....not only for salary cap purposes, but because Aldrich is the typical KU big man....in college, awesome....in the league, not so much....

interested to see if the CP3 trade rumors pan out...IMHO they'd be nutz to trade him....

Smart move by the Thunder. Cole goes to a ready-made playoff team.

Raptors draft Davis, Rockets pick Patrick Patterson.

The Thunder are poised for a huge move into the elite...I like their core...

Oh you better believe it. The Laker series showed they can hang with the big boys out west. If these young cats work on their game and avoid serious injury, they can compete for at least 5-7 years. Won't be easy - I say Kobe has three more years of greatness.

It'll be interesting to see how he and knucklehead Arenas co-exist.

David Aldridge of NBA.com reports:

The Boston Celtics’ expected rebuilding began Thursday when veteran forward Rasheed Wallace officially decided to retire after 15 NBA seasons, a league source said.

Wallace’s retirement had been expected after the Celtics’ seven-game loss to the Lakers in the Finals, but Boston had held out some hope that the 35-year-old would change his mind with a few days’ contemplation.

Wallace signed a three-year, $18.9 million contract with Boston last summer, turning down offers from Orlando and San Antonio after the Celtics made a team-wide push to recruit him, sending Coach Doc Rivers, GM Danny Ferry and forwards Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Wallace’s home to ask him to play in Boston. He left more than $12 million on the table by opting to retire.

They will get rid of Arenas if they can move him. His contract may be 2 big 2 move.

Only Isiah Thomas would be dumb enough to take on that ridiculous contract. Arenas is staying put.

If he becomes a problem, they may buy him out. He seems 2 be a bit smarter than that but his recent behavior does not indicated that he smart enough 2 just relax and just PLAY.

Here's a complete draft roundup:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft/results/rounds?year=2010&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2fdraft%2fresults%2frounds%3fyear%3d2010

I really do feel LeBron's going to Chi-Town. If he wants to win now, why go to the crapfest in NY with a defensively-challenged coach, when he can play with Rose and another top free agent?

What is going in in Portland? They fired their GM 1 hour before the NBA draft last night.

Unless the Hornets wanted to rebuild, they would be. As I hear it, the new coach wants him there.

I know I'm very late to the party, but congrats on your Saints.

I didn't, but I will say that I could see this new owner pushing him aside. If I were him, I'd throw money at Jerry West to come on board in some role.

That's why they dealt Hinrich, to clear cap space to sign to 2 bigtime FAs. Bron would be a fool to go anywhere else.

It seems as though Bosh wants to play with LeBron or DWade.

It will be interesting to see who throws money at Amare. Amare has

game but doesn't play a lick of defense.

Bosh realizes he's a no.2 guy. I'd beware of Amar'e for that same reason. He's a 4 who wants to play like a 3. If Bosh is going to join LeBull, I'd go after Boozer if I were D-Wade.

I hope this is true but Chicago has an INEPT track record.

Fingers crossed.
