Manny Pacquiao & Floyd Mayweather, JR Agree To Fight

Signatures Only Thing Needed On Finalized Contract

From RingSideReport:

By “Bad” Brad Berkwitt

“The long anticipated fight between Manny Pacquiao, 51-3-2, 38 KO’s and Floyd Mayweather, JR., 41-0, 25 KO’s is a done deal with only signatures needed on the printed contract” said a very reliable inside source close to Team Mayweather who has just contacted RSR. This inside source went on to say, “Floyd is very happy that both sides could work out issues that he always felt could be talked out.” Floyd is anticipating on making well over 50 million dollars with Manny making almost the same. Tentative dates being kicked around for an HBO PPV is the middle to end of November 2010 and if this does happen there is no doubt that this fight will be the biggest grossing in history.

In recent articles, both Promoters Oscar De La Hoya and Bob Arum have thrown tidbits out that the fight was very close to being made which back up RSR’s source as well. Arum, recently has been putting fights on in Stadium Venues with great success and the boxing public is craving for this fight to also be in a stadium which without any doubt will be sold out in hours!

Once those signatures are on the contract, then I'll believe it.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

whatevs, I'll believe it on the night of the fight. Fighters pull out of contracts ALL the time, it's called a "sparring injury"

Like the others said I'll believe it when I see it. Remember Floyd attempted to go to semi-retirement again. lol

I hope it gets done so Floyd can get down to business and

beat this cat and retire unbeaten.

here's what happens

Floyd beats Manny and retires. Proclaims himself bigger than (insert religious figure), better than (insert boxing legends), and richer than (insert multi billionaire)

Floyd spends his boxing cash extremely frivolously, including releasing a Roy Jones Jr style album (except not as good, and that's bad), and betting heavily on everything. Spends millions buying Cristal in clubs, blah blah blah

Floyd wakes up with 8 dollars left and a tax bill bigger than (insert big number). Floyd announces come back as he "misses the game and boxing needs him". Floyd makes no mention of serious money troubles. If asked, Floyd denies all money troubles.

Floyd fights on, turning in less impressive performances. Interest wanes. Eventually Floyd loses.

In amongst this, look out for stories of his dad and uncle beating up women.

I agree with missfee and I'll take it one step further, I won't believe this until they are in the center of the ring being given instructions by the ref, though I hope I'm wrong.
