Is there no NBA Finals thread?

Please don't be a douche and delete this one, saying a new thread can be started. Can just make this the thread. lol

So game 7, for all the marbles, what are you thinking so far? If the Celtics can actually get some rebounds in the second half this is gonna be a blowout. Lakers' shooting has been horrible so far.

Looking for a better game second half, it's all been a bit scrappy.

So who's gonna win it? smile

LMAO, there was but the "Reply" button disappeared. I guess it was un-fixable.

Anyway, this is a quandary.

On the one hand, you have the Lakers - a team with a rapist as their star.

On the other, you have the Celtics - a team with the insufferable Danny Ainge as the GM.

It's really hard to root for either of these teams.

But I'm going to pretend that John Havlicek is still around, and hold my nose and root for the Celtics.

Won against the Celtics. Won TWO without Shaq. He's finally his own man. Only thing left to do is win seven (passing Jordan) and become the NBA's all-time scoring leader.

Weird to see Bill Russell (who has ten rings, I believe... maybe eleven) hand him that MVP trophy, though. Wonder what he said in his ear that made him laugh? Probably something about that ring total. lol

I'm a Hawks fan but I was rooting for the Lakers. I wouldn't have begrudged the Celtics getting it though. A championship as reward for an against-the-odds run in what will surely be the final competitive season of that team as it is now.
