I don't care who the fuck you are, this will make you happier! Positive Psychology`s "Greatest Hits", from Tal Ben-Shahar (Harvard professor and author of Happier), abbrieviated par moi:
1. The Permission to Be Human
It's natural to feel stressed, angry, envious, etc. It's controling these feelings that's key.
2. Dealing with Stress
Do less. Be here now. Ritualize stress-recovery time (e.g. take a 15-min. break from work every two hours, if possible; breaks and lunchtime should be free of other distractions, such as email, phone calls, etc.; don't skip vacations; get proper sleep).
3. The Mind-Body Connection
Exercise regularly. Meditate mindfully. Be mindful of your breathing (take three deep breaths upon returning to a stressful situation/making a transition in your day).
4. Focusing on the Positive
Don't wait for a life-threatening event to appreciate everyday life. Before turning in, write down five or more things/events - from that day or otherwise - for which you are grateful. If you're writing down some or all of the same things every night, don't let it become a mindless ritual - actually think about the things you're writing down.

Just spent all afternoon outdoors at a beautiful English Garden/park. Took a long hike, sweated off several pounds, I hope. Soaked up the sunshine.
