NBA Playoffs: Who wins?

Who wins the title this year? I think there may be a few upsets in the playoffs this year. Maybe Lebron finally gets one after his 7th season in the league.

I'll stick with the Lakers.

I'm thinking the Cavs over a team that starts with a "D" - either Dallas or Denver.

Lakers are still the champs until someone beats them, though. But I bet the Thunder give them a real run for their money.

Anybody but the Fakers, because of the luckiest coach in NBA history, Phil Jackson. Now he's running his mouth about Kevin Durant getting calls. Hey Big Cheif Triangle, ever hear of Michael Jordan? Who got more calls than that bitch?

Still hatin on Phil. He is a GRRREAT coach.

How titles did Kobe have before Phil? ZERO

As much as I hate Larry Brown, he's done more with less. He made the damn Clippers a playoff team. The '03-'04 Pistons had no superstars, yet went to back-to-back finals.

Larry never had the players Phil did. I'm pretty sure if you gave him Jordan/Pippen or Shaq/Kobe, he'd have more than one ring. To me, he's a better coach/teacher than Big Chief Triangle.

As much as I want Boston, I will say the Cavs.

Very happy with my Hawks' regular season. 53 wins and only 5 teams in the whole league had a better win percentage. Hopefully we'll keep it going to routinely beat the Bucks in the first round and see what we can do against Orlando, assuming they go through too.

I'm gonna be realistic and say that my Bulls are just gonna steal one game from Cleveland.

Jesus, it seems that they've been an "up and coming young team" for a decade!

As for who's gonna win the whole Enchilada, I'm going with Cleveland.

Phil is just being Phil trying to get into Durant's head and the officials heads before the series even starts.

CBA??? That makes no sense. Of course the Bulls are over matched by Cleveland, but they're far from a CBA team.

Cleveland did what they were supposed to do, which was beat the 8th seed on their home court.

It's obvious you don't actually watch their games. Yeah, the roster isn't great, but they've got more than 2 good players. Hinrich can play, Noah can play, Deng can play, and of course Rose can play.

Now, the rest of the team isn't that good, but to say they only have 2 players that are legit NBA talent is just untrue.

In he west, my Rockets have a better record than the Bulls and they didn't even sniff the playoffs.

So what? They're in different conferences. If the Lakers were in the East, they be a 3 seed and wouldn't get Home Court.

My case was against the Bulls being a weak playoff contender and I was stating that a team not even in the playoffs in the west would be if in the East.

Lakers as the 3 seed go get homecourt, for the first round

It doesn't matter, they're an 8th seed. Every 8th seed is just happy to be there and they just hope they can steal a game or two from the top seed.

In the entire history of the NBA, there's only been about 3 8th seeds that have beaten 1 seeds in the 1st round.

So, if the Rockets were in the East, and got into the playoffs. They'd be an 8th seed, and they'd have little to no chance at winning.

Lol.....I've been a Bulls fans since 1970. I go 2 several gamses a year and I don't even live in Chicago. Rose and Joakim are the only 2 players on the Bulls worthy of NBA playoff playing time.

Larry got his one with the Detroit Pistons who had less
talent than the Lakers in the finals that year but when
you had the ego of Shaq and Kobe coupled with Gary Payton
and Karl Malone's it was a disaster waiting to happen.
Look what Larry Brown is doing with Charlotte this year.
No household names on that team. MJ will probably get the
credit because of his NC roots but that team would not
be where it's at now without Larry Brown.
