Damn Comcast! I set my DVR to record this evening's show of So You Think You Can Dance. I got so hung up with the Michelle Obama thread, I missed the show! I signed off to watch what I thought I was recording from the begining and found that it didn't record. I'm mad as hell! I caught the very last dancer who brought the panel to tears, but I wanted to see the entire show. Knowing Fox, they wont' have it available "On Demand." SHIT!

With the calibre of dancers auditioning this season, it looks like this is going to be amazing. Any fans here?

Love the show (all dem phyne wimmenz!) and the talent is outstanding. I also happen to think Nigel is a class act as far as reality judges are concerned.

Adam slays me with his overly-emo self at times... so much that my wife and I have starteed a drinking game... anytime one of the judges says "you're special" or "I'm inspired" you take a shot of whatever you have handy...

Isn't it the truth? Good grief, the man is machine! Mia isn't far behind either. But why was Nigel blasting on tonight's last dancer about being an ass? What did he do to warrant that criticism?

Mia, astoundingly awesome dancer/choreographer that she is, when she get's all weepy talkin' 'bout "I'm so humbled/inspired/whatever" that's when I just shake my head

I love a good dance routine as much as the next fella but damn if they don't take it a little overboard on the seriousness tip now and again...

alright, so, as far as last dude was concerned I think Nyge put him on blast becasue of that god-awful tap number he tried. That shit almost got him tossed and it was just plain silly, with that one routine he almost completely ruined his shot at the competition.

I'm still hunting for the stand-out favorite though...

See, I missed the entire first hour and 45 minutes so I didn't see him acting a fool. I figured he must have done something stupid for Nigel to blast him. By the looks of his dancing, he's the stand-out favorite so far if he doesn't mess up again.

The best talent show on TV...........EVER.

my favorite dance show is America's Best Dance Crew. I've only watched So You Think You Can Dance once or twice

Watched a couple seasons of ABDC, but this is the first time I've decided to put the time in with So You Think You Can Dance? Do any of the regular viewers think it's weak sauce that they're only keeping 10 dancers from the audition rounds? I have no attachment to the dancers they're bringing back, maybe I'd feel differently if I did. But right now I'd much rather see more of the dancers they've shown during auditions. And yes, I agree with whoever said lots of fine wimmenz (in lovely dance wear, I'll add ). I might have watched the show before now if I realized that.

well if memory serves, they did two back-to-back seasons last year that both had 20 dancers each (correct me if I'm wrong) and I could only get through the first set before getting dance-burnout (plus the2nd set of dancers AND routines just felt weaker) so...

however, I do agree that it seems like a really small set this year...
