I was looking up something on the internet and it mentioned state taxes....and it struck me....I didn't file my state taxes. I did my federal taxes online back in January and totally forgot to go back and do my state taxes! Which I am due a refund! Which I really need the money!!

*facepalm* luckily I did Turbo Tax and it took me all of 5 minutes to e-file. Now I can only hope to actually receive the money in the next few weeks LOL.

Thank goodness they owed me and I didn't owe them!

total dumbass moment! Just think if I had filed 4/15 I'd have my money today probably.

I am surprised that u didnt get hit with a huge fine for filing late!! that can still happen, u know!!!!????

I almost did the same thing. Somehow I completely forgot about taxes this year until literally the final day.
