Last night I was making grilled cheese sandwhiches and when they were done cooking I put them on the plate next to the celery.

I got some sour cream out of the fridge and opened the sandwhiches to mix in some sour cream and lettuce with the melted cheese. Anyway, I accidentally dropped some sour cream on my celery, but not being wasteful I decided to eat it. It was GREAT.

I ate all the celery in the house while dipping each bite into the sour cream. All day long I have now been craving celery with sour cream.

How crazy is that?

A muy excellente fresca baja Mexican joint. Very good stuff. Maybe there only here in California... one perk! We can barely afford to live, but if you want an authentic tamale, BAM! You got it! biggrin

Oh, and a note to lovemachine... it's scientifically proven that celery is the only vegetable with no nutritional value. It's got tons of water, but no vitamins or minerals!

Weird, huh?

Someone else told me this not very long ago, but the package for celery says that it contains 2% of your daily Vitamin A needs, 15% of your daily Vitamin C needs, and 4% of your daily calcium needs.

I know this is nothing compared to most vegetables, but it is something.

Plus there are very few calaries in a stick of celery (about 10) so it makes an excellent snack.

Chipotle's are also here, so I'm guessing it's a national chain.

Hmmm, I think I'll be having montrachet wrapped in grape leaves with roasted garlic for an appetize. Or possiblly Dungeness crab cakes with sun dried tomato aioli. Yum!

For an entree I will enjoy either grilled Oregon sea bass with lime and curry mornay, or roast venison on spaetzel with mushroom and black truffel demi glace. Depends what's on tv. (Is tonight Buffy? confused )

Then for dessert I think I will have some leftover white chocolate crème brulee and some sambuca. Yes, definitely some sambuca.

Sound good Supernova? biggrin
