Captain Kangaroo
The New Zoo Review Electric Company (I admit I will sometimes still watch this if I happen upon it on cable) Sesame Street And some Sid & Marty Krofft program where the premise was this kid fell into a giant magician's hat and went into some other land. I think there was a witch there who tormented him. I just can't remember what this show was, though!! Oh - and Land of the Lost! Loved the sleestaks!!

FLORIS!
A Dutch series about our most famous knight, played by Rutger Hauer (yes, the one in Blade Runner and the one that was in the Kylie video (IAN!) and that Anne Rice wanted for Lestat) and directed by Paul Verhoeven, from Showgirls, hehehe. Paul is indirectly responsible for making Prince creating 3-19.

I was never a child ...I think I was until the age of 10..but before then I really did not like watching TV..my friend has his own childrens television program as a matter of fact he had two of them...One was "Me and my chimp" and the other was "sigman the sea monster" and I ONLY watched them because he wanted me to... otherwise I liked the program "the real don steal" and "tom jones" I use to stand in front of the TV and dance for hours. My mom thought I was a trip I still am... Anyway I still dance and as far as scott, he went on to do glad tv commercials and a few other things. I hated cartoons, I just could not stir up enough imagination to find them funny

Same with Bod. I could've sworn there were a million episodes of that and yet they released a video with all '13 Episodes' on it!

the duane & floppy show. it wuz a local show in des moines, iowa, that came on every saturday mornin. one of my cousins wuz on there once a long time ago 4 her...6th birthday, i think. more about the show: The Floppy Show, one of the most popular kid's shows in Iowa, was on the air from 1957 to 1987. Floppy started out as a character on Pet Corner and was originally called "Mr. Dog". The name was later changed to "Floppy" (because of his floppy ears) when Duane and Floppy started the Cartoon Shop. The most popular riddle was "What's the biggest pencil in the World?" and of course, Floppy never could remember the answer even though he's heard the riddle a million times!!! Floppy and Duane made over 200 appearences every year. You may remember them appearing at Estes Park at the bandshell. Duane Ellett died Monday afternoon on June 22, 1987 while jogging in Ankeny. Polk county Medical Examiner Dr. R.C. Wooters said Ellett apparently died of a heart attack. Duane and Floppy are greatly missed! doodoodoo-doo-doo-doot...yeah! ZOOM
Degrassi Junior High Electric Company Fraggle Rock Big Giant Marble (I think that was the name...it was on PBS) What about that one Saturday Morning show I think it was ABC that showed like a one hour movie right after the cartoons. However, I hate it "The Wonderful World of Disney," because it was the tell tale sign that the weekend was over and I started to worry about my homework and I would get all queasy from the thought of Monday morning... Yup...that's the one "storybreak" and of course "after school special," althought I once saw an episode about a pedophile that freaked the hell out of me... Battlestar Galatica -- not much of a "kids" show, but I certainly couldn't wait as a kid to see it each week.

I remember Saturday mornings I'd get up early, creep downstairs with my duvet, because it was always cold and I wasn't allowed to light the fire, and snuggle up on the settee to watch My Favs: BagPuss A saggy cloth cat.Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams. The Clangers Ah, the Clangers! Small pink creatures living on a planet with the Soup Dragon, speaking in music. . [This message was edited Wed Jan 22 6:29:44 PST 2003 by katt] I loved that cat!!
