Who here finds Facebook depressing?

Don't you find that it is actually quite depressing sometimes, especially if you upload a load of photos and nobody comments on them, but some girls only have to write what they are eating on their status and they get half a dozen 'likes'.This isn't why F.B is depressing, but it is certainly annoying sometimes.
I'm just putting this out there....
Whats your views....
All hail, the new king in town...

I love it.

I posted a pointless status message about sprinkling babypowder that had prickly heat (unbeknownst to me until my balls caught fire), and it must have gotten 50 replies.

I love it.

What is that?

I keep hearing about it but have no clue.

I still don't know what the mafia thing is all about.

I'm someone who posts what I'm eating and get 6 people saying they "like" it.

lol

My best advice for online popularity is to talk to EVERYONE. It's about familiarity. Once someone sees your name repeatedly every day for a month they feel like they know you, and it won't matter whether they even like you much or not. Comment on every other status update. And make it witty if you can, but that's not even that important. After 30 days of that I guarantee you'll get the response you're looking for.

Same as the org. nod

post, post, post.

You'll make your enemies, but that's going to happen anywhere. Frequent posting = ending up on popularity lists.

That shit even worked for spats.

I already said it's mostly a waste of time on the other "Is Facebook Depressing?" thread, so I'm not going to repeat myself on this one.

I love facebook. People usually like to see my pics... and now that we're all digital it's a nice way for people - mostly my mum - to see what we've been doing.

A friend has also just had a brain tumour removed and she's been letting everyone know how she's doing through facebook. I don't see a huge amount of her, so its a great way to stay in touch and find out her progress.

And I organise nights out through facebook.... and just generally talk shite... lol

I like it.

Facebook is totally useless IMO. I don't waste a second of my life on that site.
