Tell me, how much do you hate mosquitos?

A lot?

Do you kill them?

Does killing them give you pleasure?

Yesterday I talked to a friend of mine who doesn't kill mosquitos. She says that they shouldn't be killed because they just want to live their lives and that a life is worth more than no itchy arm. I told her to fuck herself.

You are a good person. nod

I have pots with citronella plants out front and back of the house. I also have to douse myself in the highest concentration of DEET available before doing any kind of yardwork. mad

And I STILL get bitten. neutral

I love animals but kill mosquitos. Here they are not many but in Trinidad it's different. It would not be possible to survive there without these, but the green ones don't work, only the purple ones:

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I rarely get bit. They don't seem to like my blood.

But when I was kid, I used to try to get them to land on the vein in my wrist, so I could trap them until they exploded. I thought that was cool.

so...

you want to get rid of mosquitos

these herbs(and more) will help you out

basil: mosquitos hate the smell of basil. i usually put a pot of basil next to my window and i have no problem with mosquitos.

garlic: mosquitos also hate this. eat raw garlic and then it will sweat through your skin and then well you'll smell bad, but at least you won't be bother by mosquitos.

i would avoid anything fruity in particular BANANA! mosquitos love the sweet smell of BANANA! so i would stay away from BANANA!

Lemon Eucalyptus EO works wonders as well

I use it in a carrier oil on skin and a diffuser inside and outside the house

drops mixed with wather in a spray bottle around tents and camp chairs

thumbs up! works better then any chemical nasty filled spray in my experience

also burning white sage or using sage EO works good to ...specially if used WITH the Lemon Eucalyptus EO

peace!

Yes, I kill them - it's as natural as them biting me.

None at all.

We started using Avon Skin-So-Soft as repellant because we heard that soldiers used in during Desert Storm. I don't even know if Avon makes it anymore.

Yes, they absolutely do. And you're right--it works wonders as far as keeping pests away, including sand gnats.

They don't bite me alot, but they keep me up at night...and it seems like everytime they're near your ear you get up and then turn on the light they're nowhere to be found... i don't hate them but they are really annoying.

I don't tend to get bitten by them. Why is that? Do I smell weird to them? Why do they bite my husband when he's sitting right next to me, but leave me alone?
