Going to see a premiere of an exciting movie I've been anticipating. Or, an amusement park. Some (not all) malls can be fun. And of course, driving around a well-lit area, like expressways or downtown, is great. I love driving with music playing. But that's about it. I don't like restaurants or concerts, and dance parties bore me. Maybe I would like a stage play, but I haven't been to one of those in a long time.

Tonight I'm taking myself out to dinner and a ballet choreography showcase thingie. I could have invited people to go with me -- a really cute boy who really likes me, even -- but. . . I didn't. I just want to have a quiet evening and enjoy the ballet without thinking about anybody else.

I'm kind of a freak. lol

I go to movies by myself all the time. I like being able to just take a film in without having to discuss it - especially if it's something heavy.

lol thanks Val!

I'm actually getting to go out on Saturday night ( woot! ) as it's my birthday on Tuesday wink

My idea of a good night out would be either a meal with my friends (either to a great restaurant or sometimes we each cook a dish and have a dinner party at one of our homes), or go to see a show or comedian - 8 of us are going to see Peter Kay in Manchester in may woot!

Either way, fabulous friends are a MUST nod

Good food with a good stout* with friends and live music.

*Or wine

Perfect. Throw in balmy weather; the chance to dress up a bit; and a giggly, slightly buzzed (them, not me innocent) cab ride home, and I'm near heaven.
