Nobody can top Jim Carrey as the Riddler. Not even that old dude who played him on that B&R tv show.

i didnt think any one could top Jacks joker, but heath rocked it woot!

Agreed. Jack was over the top- everything you could want in a maniacal villain like the Joker-but Heath took that character into the damned stratosphere.

A Single Man with Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. It's kind of sad.

The Gospel According to St. Matthew (1964)

A film by Pasolini made in the rugged Italian counrtyside
with local villagers as extras. The Italians know how to
make beautiful films.

great film. Im still hoping for a 3rd Batman movie. There was a rumor of Johny Depp playing "The Ridler".

I still don't like that movie. It's just mediocre to me and Heath Ledger just steals Nicholson's performance . . . .

except Ledger's and Nicholson's performances aren't even a little the same. Both did great work with their respective scripts, but the script in TDK was more faithful to the Joker of the comics.

ANYWAYS...most recent good movie I saw was "planet of the apes."

=0P

PS. side note...most disappointing movie I've seen recently? A serious man. Bo-ring.
Brace yourself

It's typical Tyler Perry,if one has issues with his style then they'll still have issues. He still has somethings to learn about the technical stuff. Since I now know what he's trying to say with his movies I really enjoy them, this one too. Janet can work a golf club too. There will be a three.

Was kick-ass really funny? I'm in the mood for a laugh-out-loud funny movie.
I liked Zombieland--it was the last movie that made me laugh. The very
predictable scene where Bill Murray get's 'shot' had me in stitches despite.

I would say the last good movie I saw was one with John Cuzak and Al Pacino
where Al plays a mayor and John Cuzak his right-hand man. I don't know the
name of the movie though. falloff

KA isn't spoofy like Zombieland, it has seriousness to it. Very controversial since most of the heavy violence involves the little girl. But its trying to say something. But it is funny.
