I finally watched Avatar tonight. hmmm

And? Did you like it?

It didn't suck. Good ending, definitely room for a sequel. Sam Worthington, even as a blue Na'vi, is still sexy as all hell. Good story, great CGI.

I saw it in 3-D and I don't know why, but that movie was soooo predictable. Yes, visuals were great, but the story itself was boring.

But Michelle Rodriguez was hot horny

"Un prophète"

A hard but beautiful movie about prison-life.

Orphan.

Shit was weird. Like The Bad Seed meets The Hand That Rocks The Cradle.

I figured it out 10 minutes in.

Lame.

That's a great movie too. A little like Amores Perros, but in the Middle East.

Oh, come on.

I just saw it two days ago, and I liked it. What's wrong with that? Christian Bale shouldn't have been the main character, but it's still an interesting movie. I guess you don't like any of the first three Terminator films either.

Wow. lol The only movie I've ever fallen asleep on in a theater was the third or fourth Harry Potter film, lol.

I think Salvation would have been better if James Cameron directed it (as he did the first two). Still a good action movie though, and it completes the story until a new chapter is created.

The Lovely Bones

I was a bit disappointed with the movie. There was a lot of "the other side" stuff that just dragged on. There was also a lot of shots of the girl just having a scared look on her face. It was like watching a Kubrick film or something at times.

I thought the same thing. I liked that they didn't stray too far from the book though; some of the first trailers made it look like it was going to be a who-dunnit film. It is a tough one to adapt though because there isn't really a plot in the book, but I quite liked it but thought it could have been an hour shorter.

Shutter Island
Gorgeous cinematography and score, very atmospheric. Can't wait for this to cone out on blu-ray. I still can't figuire out of the ending is suposed to be a 'twist', because it was very obvious through out the film. Either way I loved it.

Excellent movie!

I just watched that the other day. It was quite good.

I also watched Amelie, a 2000 French film that was rejected by the Cannes organizers for being "uninteresting", yet went on to win a butt load of awards.
