Seriously tho, I'm beginning to wonder why I'm still even on FB.

It kinda depresses me too. But at the same time I like it sometimes confused I don't know....it's a love/hate thing right now for me....

I do superficially glamorous things, but at the end of the day it's pretty dull still (to me)

You should twitter LOL. Why some people feel the need to tell everyone about completely mundane shit is beyond me?

Ummm...isn't that what twitter is for? lol

I use it every now and then but it isn't something I use daily, just for family to see how I'm doing, that's about it. Other than that, compared to other sites, it's as bad as MySpace though MySpace is far worse. lol

I love it for the purpose of keeping up with my cousins in other states. I would never have enough time in my crazy world to catch up with each and everyone, but it sure is nice to be able to see and hear about what is going on in their world. heart

I like it. It makes it a lot easier to find out about auditions - and keep track of the shows my theatre friends are in.

I don't have a facebook account...but if I did, this is exactly the path I would like to take; use it for work, career networking, ect. I think it is wonderful as a trade tool. Instant updates on projects out there, who landed what, etc. That makes sense to me. Making posts about what I'm doing every second down to the color of my undies and what cereal I ate this morning does not.

I use my Twitter account to follow trends, announce artistic endeavors I support, and check out all the freelance jobs circulating. I hardly tweet, because if it's not arts information/event driven, I figure what's the point? lol Iknow no one gives a hoot about what color socks I'm wearing or if I'm on my way to the airport lol

That is actually a cool thing. I recently found relatives accidentally on Facebook while researching my family tree. Turns out a Facebook page had been devoted specifically to my family geneology and I was able to accomplish the most amazing research (that probably would have taken months or years) in minutes flat. For stuff like this Facebook seems to be an awesome application.

I love facebook. Helps me keep in touch with family and friends across the world, with legitimate news. And cute pictures of the kids.

But if the most exciting thing ya do is party and facebook, well, that makes for pretty dull facebooking, doesn't it? Everybody with their boring lives trying to look glamorous. lol I've got a few friends like that, and I just laugh at them.

Like I said before, I don't have a facebook page yet because I never saw the use for it; but for something like this, I am definitely intrigued and seriously thinking of reconsidering nod

I used to feel much the same and was a great one for burning my bridges. Maybe I'm getting old, but after years of rushing headlong into the future without a backwards glance, I started to realise that I'd let a lot of beautiful people go without a thought.

Over the last year, I've made contact with people from 10 - 20 years ago in my past. And it has been a joy. We shared so many good times and were so close, and more times than not, it felt much the same when we met up.

Of course, we have seperate lives, most of us in different countries from each other, but I've found a great depth of understanding that I never knew existed or that I would find it such a warming experience.

Like I said, I'm getting on a bit.

I just reactivated my account tonight, to search for someone whom told me to look them up - and I'd forgotten how depressing it is.

It's like staring at an ant farm.

All these people, posting... shit. Every wedding photo looks like every other wedding photo; every holiday photo looks like every other holiday photo; every "wild" and "crazy" party looks like every other shit party I've ever been to.

Everybody's just waiting for something to happen; the next meme to exploit until it's no longer funny (which usually only takes a day or two).

Baby pictures... All babies look the fucking same... Unless it's got two heads, I'm not bloody interested.

I hate Facebook!!! mad

It's just life in a petri dish, that's all it is. It's depressing because life is exactly like that. lol
