The only famous person I ever met that left me star struck to this very day. Truly the most elegant and gracious woman I've ever encountered, and she will be sorely missed. While we live in a world today where everyone is a celebrity, Dixie Carter was among the last of a dying breed, she was a star.
Rest In Peace, Ms. Dixie.

Dixie had all the qualities that I envy in southern women. That sort of class mixed with sass is not something I see much. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

I was shocked when I first heard this a few days ago. May she rest in peace. I've lost the use of my heart, But I'm still alive, Still looking for the life, The endless pool on the other side, It's a wild wild west, I'm doing my best, I'm a soldier of love, Every day and night, I'm soldier of love, All the days of my life.
