My heart is still broken as far as the way some things have turned out...

It's so tough to console in these situations, because the hurt must happen. Means you're healthy.

Know that you're loved, regardless of what happened... and you'll look back on this as something that made you, ultimately, more whole.

What happened today has a history of happening to me. This isn't the first time I've been treated this way. I honestly don't know if it's because of me or if it's because of the sort of person I attract. It feels horrible though.

While we may have differing views, at least when it comes to a certain thread in P&R, I can relate to what you're going through here, because I've had similar feelings.
Although I don't claim to be an expert on the subject, the best advice I can give you is to learn from the experience without letting the bad memories take over your life. I've made the mistake of sometimes obsessing about stuff that was said to me months or even years after it happened and it's just not good for your health.
It's also important to remember that you shouldn't always blame yourself, Sometimes you might be unfortunate enough to interact with people that might not treat you very well, doesn't mean it's because you attract bad people.

The worst part was that what this person did was obviously not done intentionally to hurt me. It wasn't malicious or mean. That would have meant that I was in their thought process somewhere at least. No, what makes it so bad is that I wasn't even taken into consideration. If anything I was an afterthought.

I'm still trying to process this. The event, as it were, was less than 2 hours ago. It's pretty fresh.
