I thought it later came out that she was just a beard.

I see what you're saying about his truth but his truth also impacts the people he's involved with and therefore while it's important, it's not the only definition that counts.

From what he said it sounded like he used to hook up with a lot of women back in the 80's. Personally I feel like a guy like GM thinks women are beautiful, and had sex with them, maybe was even attracted to them to some degree. But even so I have a hard time believing he was ever straight. I believe he tried to be straight, and it didn't work for him.

He has talked about women, He does find them attractive, but He just prefers men...

The 90's george is on FIRE! The one today is totally hot too! Saw him in concert, I was the very first row right ON the stage... All I could do was look at his pants lol And point stuff out to my husband! Bless his heart for putting up with me at that concert!

I was so fammy I even screamed I LOVE YOU GEORGE... He never lets me live it down! disbelief But I had drank like 3 glasses of wine, and that was before the concert not to mention the 2 at the concert boxed

My experience is only secondhand, but knowing some friends who eventually came out, they used to love women, be attracted to them, but just had issues getting down & dirty with them. That's what I imagine is true about GM.

Agree with the person that says a person can not look gay. It's true...you can't look gay. Gay men are born with the same features/bone-structure as straight men.

I can always (well almost always) tell by how they talk, walk, their manneurisms (especially the way they move their hands), etc. (as someone mentioned earlier.)

I don't think anyone can look gay. There are lots of feminine-looking men out there who are completely straight. Look at someone like Rob Lowe. He's quite feminine looking and is not even close to even being gay (or even being bi.)

Look at Prince --- well I don't even need to say anything about that...

See, for me it's the opposite. I'm gay (not bi) and would not be disgusted by having sex with a woman but I could never be in love with a woman though (there is no emotional connection between me and women.)

Not saying I would absolutely enjoy doing a woman (I wouldn't), but I wouldn't be grossed out by it either. I would just be bored with it and it would mean nothing to me. I would feel nothing...

If that makes sense...

I could have sex with as many women as I want to but it's not going to make me straight or even bi (at all.) I'm still going to be just as gay as I was before.

And I think the same holds true for everyone.

Just because you fuck someone, does not mean you are in love with the person or even attracted to the person.

I think it's different for different people. Some gay people seem to be disgusted by the thought of sex with women, just as I am kinda grossed out by the thought of having sex with a man.

But I agree having sex with women isn't going to make you straight, otherwise it seems George Michael would be straight

If not, it is now lol

Ricky has never been a "swishy" guy. I think folk equate flamboyant with feminine. Which confuses me a bit because, since I am a female, I am in no way flamboyant or swishy LOL. And I don't say "fabulous"....well, not with regularity anyway.

I find it quite stereotypical of people's response in that "oh he HAD to be gay.....LOOK at him". Is it because he had some metrosexual look about him? Are only unkempt, average joe, flannel wearing men allowed to be straight and not allowed to keep up their appearance? It's a stupid idea.

Prince fans have a fucking shit fit when someone accuses him of being gay or bisexual, or that he's too girly. "But he's in touch w/ his feminine side!" they yell. WTF does that even mean anyway???? Does every guy who is in touch w/ their alleged fem side immediately seen as a fop and a dandy like Prince? "Yeah, but Prince is a genius" At what? Dressing like a chick? I'd LOVE for Prince to come out wearing a pair of jeans, a pair of loafers, and a college sweater or a regular turtleneck that hadn't been dipped in a vat of glitter and Get Wild perfume. No one knows his waist size, but we know if he was a girl he'd be a size 6 (according to Dave Hill).

Yet if Ricky Martin, a masculine, hairy, tanned, tall, good looking, well dressed, and successful Latin man comes out as gay, then it's "oh well OF COURSE he is, LOOK at him. You can tell." You can tell? REALLY?

It all seem hypocritical from the people who list "straight acting, no femmes" in their adam4adam or gay.com profile, yet are the first to pick an apparently queer from the crowd, like Ricky Martin.

Yes we know Clay Aiken was gay. Every time he opened his mouth, the fall collection from Louis Vuitton fell out.

Shouldn't the gay-sided response be more "I'm GLAD he's gay, because I want to fuck him. And knowing he's gay fulfills my lonely gay fantasies I have at home when no one is around" ???

Should the straight-sided response be, "I'm glad he's gay because his uber masculine image threatened my fragile straight ego, and I want to think I'm better than him and can get more women - now I don't have to feel threatened by someone who doesn't even know I exist." ???

But was Ricky Martin THAT feminine? Fuck no, he wasn't.

clapping That's a good God damned post.
