British Petrol Prices.

Per litre our fuel will hit the following price in the next week.

£1.20
$1.81
€1.32

Thank fuck air is free. Even if it is enhanced by chem-trails.

we 'murkins buy this stuff called Gas-o-line... it's a very, very cheap version of "Petrol", kinda like what sparkling wine is to Champagne.

it's going for around $3 per gallon...

It's a fuckin disgrace - crude oil prices are the lowest they've been in the last 2 years (apparently..) but we're being mugged every time we set foot on the forecourt disbelief

I remember when it used to cost me £28 to fill my car, less than 7 years ago - now it's almost £70! Typical 'Bend Over Britain'..

It was a huge thing when the queen visited Trinidad some weeks ago lol.

It would make it easier to travel to Austria or Trinidad and stay there for longer, that's all that counts to me lol. No visa problems, that sounds like heaven woot!.

I used to stay in Costa Rica, sometimes for several months in a year, and then I had to come back to Germany because of my new job.
Felt like Jack Shepard from LOST leaving the island and falling into a huge depression, looking for a way back ever since...not necessarily Costa Rica but any other warm and distant place.
So I can totally relate to your situation.

I see you have picked up the "original" English way to spell things. Interesting.
How is your stay in Britain influencing your everyday use of everyday words?

Gas/petrol...FUEL lol is very expensive in Germany, too. I find that ridiculous since a huge chunk of that money is just added tax.
Commuting or transportation shouldn´t be a luxury in the year 2010. I also find it a bit sexist because many young women earn less money despite having the same jobs as men, and often they are prone to sexual harrassment in the subway or on the bus.
At least they should be able to drive at night. It´s a crying shame. It´s high time that they introduced some new, affordable alternative energy cars to the market.

sigh I know what you are talking about. So we are in the same boat a bit highfive. If it wasn't for money/job and my apartment I would move there. It is a completely different life, especially as I was living in the middle of the rain forest. I miss living there, but most of all I miss my bf bawl.
What was life in Costa Rica like? Did you ever make a thread about it wink lol?
