COUNTDOWN: I AM Moving to New York....eh, or really want to...kind of... I want to go to move to New York later this year and get my Masters. This is something I really feel I need to do for anew reasons. I'll list them!
1. I freakin' MISS SCHOOL! Why not go back and put a CAP on it. 2. I want to go to a REAL school ( well my school was OK, but i feel like alot of what I learned I had to go about on my own. Even though I am the first to graduate from college in my family, I dont "feel" like it was a "real accomplishment" because its one of those schools that advertise on tv in the middle of the day, lol) 3. These student loans are about to KILL ME! I need more time! Made the mistake of getting a private loan, meaning i can't negotiate the monthly fees, and NO "forbearance"... They are after me hardcore and there is absolutely NOTHING i can do about it at the moment. ( thought about making a separate thread for that but its too depressing) 4. I want to expand my knowledge of TV/FILM Production so I can become a Professor/ Teacher in that arena when I am between Projects. 5. I WANT TO MOVE OUT MY MAMA HOUSE! Need personal growth and to go somewhere where there is no family to "catch me if I fall". need more hair on mah balls so that, in essence, is my case. I have already gotten over myself and told people I have submitted an application to NYU even though I haven't ( i always speak too soon. maybe thats my way of motivating myself to actually do it) So today Im just gonna call up there and find out what I need to do to actually get the ball rolling. I've been talking for 2 months. Now its time to DO. Atlanta is cool but i want some NEW YORK CULTURE. p.s. im scared as hell though.

before i moved here, nyc was a terrifying concept to me too.
it's a wonderful place though. the image people have of nyc from movies and tv is a nyc that doesnt really exist anymore. it's much safer, cleaner, friendlier, and so on than it used to be. granted, it lost a bit of the charm as it became new nyc, but... ^^^True, it became a bit Disneyfied over the years. Still, it's an amazing city that calls out to a lot of people.
Good luck, Nvncible1. You'll love it out here!
