EATING BUGS! YAY OR NAY???

They are a good source of protein (rolleyes), can be sauteed or fried or grilled (hmmm) and are in abundance (nod). John the Baptist ate locusts or some shit. Lot's of people around the world have bugs as part of their diet.

so uh...yay or nay? do or die? biggrin

I think I'd be willing to try a nicely prepared bug. And If it tasted good and wouldn't hurt me I'd see no reason not to stop eating it. shrug

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

We all eat bugs every day. Flour and goods made from it, cereal, grains, many other things we eat contain bugs and bug parts. And it is acceptable by food regulations provided these parts don't exceed certain thresholds.

@ Desirre ...Do you know what I find hypocritical?

Some people on the earth would reject the idea of eating clean animals like grasshoppers & locusts, but have absolutely no issue of eating unclean animals like pigs/swines, oysters, lobsters, and raccoons for examples.

What's up with that?
