They also think it might be a hoax, in that someone (like a customer) got on the intercom and said that. There's no reason a manager would, per se. Anyone who has been around Walmart might know that their intercom comes on when you get to a phone and dial #96. Anyone can get on it. There are videos online of guys going through Walmart and quoting facts about the Iraq War....in Canada, no less. | |

I think the person that called it "appalling, stupid and sad" pretty much summed it up...but stupid people are everywhere, especially Wal Mart...
as for serious reprecussions, I doubt it...chances are it was an isolated incident by some dumb ass jacking the p.a. system... I was in a K Mart in North Carolina years ago and somebody got on the p.a. and announced a blue light special on the "hos and tricks" aisle... | |
