Avast and AVG both have free versions that update regularly, and both work quite well. Go with Avast for now.

Microsoft Security Essentials.
It's actually pretty decent. Combine that with good email and web surfing habits, and you should be good. If you want to pay for something, there's a "In the Cloud" SaaS solution called Purewire. They were bought out by Barracuda recently. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Oops. Looks like Barracuda isn't looking to sell to individuals. That kinda sucks because Purewire's vision was to reach out to businesses and individuals.
Anywho, if you have a virus now, you want to run Malwarebyes's cleaner, ATFCleaner, turn off Windows System Restore, and do an online scan at McAfee or Kaspersky. Then install and run your anti-virus of choice. Install Firefox and the Ad Block Plus add-on using Easylist. Google Chrome also has some decent ad blocking extensions. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

And then once downloaded, you can head on over to bboy87's porn link thread. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

They were bought out by Barracuda recently. That's pretty cool too. I installed that on my sister's computer after her trial Norton antivirus ran out. Don't laugh at my funk
