She used to have all these black marks and just generally looked like she'd lived a tough life. Kinda looked how I'd expect an old Thai woman to look, since over 60 here is really pretty old compared to in the west. Now her skin's all the same colour and actually looks smoother than I'd expect say an English 60+ year old woman to have. She's got a double chin and a chubby face because she's a bit fat but her skin itself looks really taut. Mon's brother's wife is using it too and it's smoothing out all her old acne pock marks and discoloured areas. I still don't know exactly what it is though. . The thing is, I've found out that the serum isn't exactly strictly totally completely 100% legal in the sense that the company's too small at the moment to get some kind of patent or safety testing or something of that nature that would require a certain tax to be paid (at least this is what I gather ). I still don't know quite where they're getting it from but it wouldn't surprise me if Chinatown is involved somehow. I did find out it costs equiv. of $30 for a small bottle so it's not exactly cheap. Still thinking about getting some for myself to check it out properly though. I still think that your work environment is the culprit. I'm glad to hear that you're okay and well on the road to recovery. [Edited 3/11/10 7:47am]

It always comes back. For the most part I've "outgrown" it and my attacks are allergy related so I can prevent them. But I know that when I get old it'll come back full force.

PunkMistress said: I'm Not Dying! It's Asthma!
Update to my recent health nightmare: I went to see the lung specialist today. I finally had pulmonary function testing done, first while I was symptomatic and then after treatment with an inhaled asthma medicine. The test showed my lung capacity was 75% before treatment. After treatment it was 114%! So I've been diagnosed with adult onset asthma and severe allergies. I can't tell you how relieved I am to have an answer and a treatment plan. My interweb friends have been a tremendous and cherished source of support, comfort, distraction and upliftment during all of this. Shout out to JerseyKRS who has not only been dealing with the stress of not knowing what's wrong with his sick wife, but also taking on all the duties of home, bills and four crazy children. He is the most best thing of anything that ever was.
