That's pretty much what he said and he was assanine and crass about it. The second go around he back peddled and said she only got the roles she did because of her weight and she's only a morbidly obese prop, and that her role in precious didn't require acting. Have a second listen..

ok...so I've had a second listen...and he's "pretty much" saying that she probably won't get any more roles. They kept commenting on "what movie is she gonna be in?" "what role is she gonna play?"
it's so funny how people hear what he was "pretty much" saying and not exactly what he said. oh and he was assinine and crass? GASP! no way! lol
Listen, I wish the girl nothing but success and good health.

Umm, a little condescending perhaps? I was simply running through key statements of what the man said on air. I'm not that bad at paraphrasing, dear.

A few points an then I'm done;

1. First and foremost; let me be very clear that I don't need you to tell me what Mr. Stern said exactly as I heard him loudly and clearly in all his pointed attacks, blatant insults, and callous inferences alike. Anyone here can tell you I am a reasonably intelligent woman and I do not have comprehension problems... but thanks for the explanation anyway. confused

2. I still find Howard assanine, and people who make a living attacking other are simply not my cup of tea, which is true for more than a few here. My stating the obvious really does not require the sarcasm from your end, but thanks again.confused

3. While perhaps we agree to disagree on Ster, and whether or not what he did was atrocious, or even if that drivel of his is anywhere near the bar of what constitutes entertainment, we can at least both wish Sidibe the best in health and sucess. That's the vital and most important thing for me, so Cheers, dear! thumbs up!

While some of us are still on the subject of health, Howard Stern needs to eat more. Seriously, he skinny as a toothpick!!! As yet, he has the audacity to blast fat women.

Whatever.

Shyra

This might be a little off-subject, but perhaps Gabby would be a better choice of playing Hattie McDaniel than Monique. Both have proven acting ability, but Gabby has the more authentic look for Hattie, but you know that Monique will never give the role to Gabby since she owns the rights and wants to play the role herself.

falloff wow..bolded AND red! wooooowee! I wasn't even trying to bunch up your panties.
1. well..same goes for you deary..I don't need YOU telling me to have a second listen. confused but I took it with a grain of salt and went and had a second listen.
you obviously didn't hear it cause our conversation started with you bolding my statement about how I didn't think he said she couldn't find work at all in hollywood, telling me that he pretty much did say that. I went and had a second listen and lo and behold...he pretty much DIDN'T say that, he said she wasn't going to get any leading roles.
2. Howard doesn't "make a living" attacking people. He makes a living entertaining people with his radio show. 4 to 5 hours of live radio every day (ok 4 days aweek) of wich a small percentage is attacking people. I don't care if you think your comments "required" any sarcasm from me...I get to decide that not you. I wasn't even that sarcastic...certainly not enough for the wrist slapping you're giving me.
3. We'll certainly have to agree to disagree on many things, including when to use words like "atrocious" confused
All to best to Sidibe and you too dear! biggrin
"not a fan" falloff yeah...ok
