Ours is just a wood box on the ground, basically. One half holds dry leaves and the other holds kitchen scraps, and we layer the leaves on top of scraps when we put them in. I never actually see the worms, but there are other weird little creepy crawlies that get in there and hang out on top. They gross me out. I deal with it. our compost is full of regular earthworms sometimes we steal some to go fishing | |
