Please pray for me that I get a job ASAP because times are straight up beyond critical and I will be feeding my family Wheaties and powdered milk.

The good news is I have applied for government jobs, and what I qualify for is a position which there is "severe shortage". Not the most fancy of jobs but benefits would rock and pay is better.

The bad news is I think I've applied to over 25 jobs this past few months and not even a nibble. Damn, this economy is rough as hell.

Oh yes, still waiting to hear about pharmacy school. Test results came back and my scores were average. Considering I had not studied like I should, and hadn't seen most of that information for over 10 years....that actually is pretty good to rank up there with recent or upcoming graduates.

I also have one last trick and that is to go "back to school" in my own field, basically do a residency program. The stipend, however, is not so great.

Any, please sprinkle a lil prayer that the BB and her family won't starve!!

A friend just got hired today and I'm due to find out if I get hired this week... all signs point towards YES!

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers love. Also, while you are in transition, you may also want to try to apply for foodstamps. All pride aside, (I know its hard to ask for help when you are used to independence) but that's what got me over in my toughest time and helped me to pay my bills until I got my finances in order again.

Totally true and not cheesy! Thanks!! You all rock and I know life gets tough for all of us, so I stay prayed up for everybody. Trying to let go of anger and stress in my life too and keep faith. I've been down this broke road before...go figure, lol. I wonder why can't I stay stable and all, you would think I was beating and shooting folk and coming in to work drugged up and alcoholic. All I ever wanted to do was my job and do it well and do it efficiently and please the clients and the boss. Seriously. I wasn't even a slacker. But every time the Lord has seen me through, and I do believe he will see me through again.

I'm lmao-ing right now because my old boss wants to be a "facebook friend"....da fuck! How you gonna shit on me over money and believe stupid shit about me that you don't see and terminate me instead of trying to work something out because you know I have a family to take care of, people that can't take care of themselves, and then try to be all buddy-buddy.

And if I do get the job I want I am going to keep on with my education and work out a back-up plan to never end up like this again!
