Not the literature, but the game. Did anyone ever get this? I just got it the other day, and I'm loving it so far. Because of the God of War influence, some critics have bashed this game. The influence is there, but I think this game has some elements of its own.

i downloaded the demo and played and was impressed. that was before i started playing god of war---i think the similarities are overwhelming and that DI generously borrows from GOW--that being said, last night i played the demo again and it does stand up on its own merits. i may buy it after i finsh GOW 1 & 2 and the 3 when it comes out in a few weeks

I will just wait a week or two for GoW3. Haven't really heard anything good from this game and with the abundance of hack and slash action games that have come out recently this is on the very bottom of the list. Bayonetta or Darksiders look a lot better than this to me. But GoW3 will blow them all out of the water

I'm toward the end of it. It's hard to get time to play with an 8 year old up all day and her super-Christian mom up all night.

Yeah, GOW3 looks really good. I don't have a PS3 yet, but GOW3 makes me wanna get one. I guess they released a GoW-like game for those w/out a PS3....DI does the job for now. Bayonetta got pretty good reviews, but I played a demo and didn't really care for it the first time. I was really wanting to like it too, since it had a cool looking female lead.
