tmac is walking wounded. nate to boston doesn't make sense. although add it up, and you've cleared 30mill in salary for wade and lebron..

McGrady's value is the expiring contract - the most expensive expiring contract in the league. If you have McGrady on your team at the end of the year, when his contract expires you get a ton of room to sign LeBron, DWade, or whoever.

Is Camby healthy? If so, Portland is going to at least the conference Finals, IMHO.

The Rockets' GM loves Jordan Hill, so if we make a deal, I figure it's with the Knicks. I think we're trying to figure out if we can get better with free agents this summer than we can through a trade right now.

And of course, TMac's contract is being paid by insurance, so there's no urgency to trade him.

Sixers are standing pat. A few weeks ago or so they
were mentioning a possible trade with Iguadala for
Stoudemire.

I'm quite thrilled that Portland landed Camby for 2 players that hurt the team as much as they helped it.

Nate has skills, but until he matures and learns how to be a basketball player, he's nothing more than a circus act. Knick brass finally had enough - shit, Nate had problems with Larry Brown and Isiah.

I don't know WTF Boston was thinking, but I'm glad they made the move.

Conduct may have led to Howard tradeComment Email Print Share By Tim MacMahon

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Forward Josh Howard missed a game because of a hangover, according to multiple team sources, adding to his list of questionable off-court conduct toward the end of his tenure with the Dallas Mavericks.

Multiple team sources said Howard missed the Mavericks' Jan. 20 win over the Washington Wizards because of a hangover after a night of partying.

Howard refused comment.

That reaffirmed the Mavericks' intention to move forward without Howard, who did not start another game after sitting out against the Wizards, when he missed the morning shootaround and did not dress for that game. The Mavericks, who were already shopping Howard and wanted to protect his trade value, announced that he had a stomach illness.

Howard, who was traded to the Wizards last week as part of a seven-player deal that brought Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood to Dallas, told reporters after his Washington debut that he intended to "stick it to the Mavs."

Boston will get another ball handler in Nate, plus speed.

They need that speed.....they look real old and slow all of a sudden.

Yes, Boston does. It will also give other teams something else to worry about. I think it will be a good fit. Nate was my only reason for watching the Knicks.

T-Mac played pretty damn good last night!

Meanwhile, the Rockets got hosed at home by the lowly Pacers.

You mean ballhog, not ball handler.

Antwan Jamison is just what the Cavs need.

How is Nate a ball hog? When he was with NY, he was the spark that they needed at times. Now that he is in Boston, it gives them a chance to be more successful on the inside and allows them to run more plays for Pierce and Ray Allen.
