What I remember liking most was my Barbie dolls. I loved getting new outfits for them and my mom and grandma taught me to sew and would give me fabric scraps, elastic and snaps and I’d make outfits for them too. I didn’t really even play with them (unless I was at a friend’s house), I just liked changing their outfits.

And I remember liking Tinker Toys. Building things with them at my grandparents house (as that’s where that toy lived). My grandparents’ favorite story about me was when I was 2 (2!) I was building something with them and my grandpa asked me what I was making and I said to him, serious as can be, “I’m making a commotion”.

Other than that, I don't remember playing with toys a whole lot.

Oh - Cabbage Patch dolls. I had a few of those...

It was SOLID too. I remember it being a very thick heavy material. You know it was not flimsy to stand up to me. lol
I had this plane too (also heavy duty). If I still had them I'd let you have one. hug

OH! And pools! Any kiddie pool I ever had was a favorite toy of mine. mushy
Being in Puerto Rico, we went to the beach all the time, so I loved/love water.
I used to make my mom get into the pool or lean her head in and I'd use the hose to wash her hair and then would pile it on top of her head or spike it. I called it playing BEAUTY PARLOR. purse

That blue boat was a favorite toy for many many years. It too used to transport Star Wars folk across treacherous waters. giggle

confused

I LOVED THEM! nod
They were friends/sometimes enemies with the Star Wars figures. cloud9

I don't know if there was a cartoon or anything. I don't remember one in Puerto Rico, just the toys.

No cartoon, just comix:

Left to right: Acroyear, Baron Karza (in background), Arcturus Rann (Space Glider), and new characters Marionette and Bug.

They met the X-Men a few times:

I had a lot of those including the girl dolls like Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Supergirl. My cousin made fun of me because I had girl dolls. sad

I had those too, including Batman with the removable cowl.

But these were my all-time favorites. I had the first series from the late 60s:

Mattel's Hot Wheels was the shit too. Remember the orange tracks?

The Micronauts was one of my all-time favorite comics. I still have the whole series. I was too old for the toys by then. I was a comic book nut, especially Marvel.

i had one too! it had some cool games, and there were very few games that had any copy protections on them. I would go to the store with a disk and copy the display games, and even got a few game samplers with like 10 games each. Mostly not very good. but i had a lot of games. (some were very naughty)

same!
Wherever my parents took me, as long as I had my markers and paper, I was happy
my grandma used to work for an office supplies company
every time I saw her she would have reams of paper in different colours for me. I still have the drawings I did as a kid.
