I had both Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I had no idea some people favored one over the other till I was an adult. I loved 'em both and had a ton of cars, plus all kinds of track segments.

And then I had all the DC and Marvel superhero dolls (except for the female ones, which my dad wouldn't allow. But I got back at him by growing up to be a big ol' homo.)

Anything I could get my hands on that was Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
For 2 full years of my life, I wouldn't go by any other name than "Kimberly" (who was the Pink Ranger).

Oh, I had tons of Matchbox cars too. They actually held up better because the axels were pins instead if wires.

I wasn't a very demanding child. I would be happy with a piece of paper and colored pencils. But I adored this thing :

I also remember having this phase biggrin :

Loved playing with arch and arrow!

What was your favorite childhood toy? Do you still have it? Have you had it valued?

My teddy. was given to me for my first birthday

I no longer have it...it burnt in a house fire at my grandparents...when i was around 10ish (fire contained to my sisters bedroom, where my teddy lived sad )

didnt have it valued...but it was priceless to me sad
seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

You reminded me of this huge plush cat that I would carry around everywhere with me (and usually my mum would end up having to carry both me and the cat!). I would hold it so tightly that I tore the fabric off her back!

Thanks hug
Karen (my bear) was threadbear, no eyes (they were beaded back then) and patches on her paws.
iI had outgrown her (then) but left her at my grandparents house, as this was my favourite place on earth mushy

when i had counselling years ago, my counsellor gave me a mini teddy to carry with me til i was "well"...to replace my missing bear mushy
(wasnt having counselling due to bear loss, life had got to much for me..and panic attacks/anxiety ruled!!)

Yes! But if I had posted one of those first, people that didn't know them wouldn't get the appeal I think.

confused

I LOVED THEM! nod
They were friends/sometimes enemies with the Star Wars figures. cloud9

I don't know if there was a cartoon or anything. I don't remember one in Puerto Rico, just the toys.

I had these too! smile

Everyone else I knew had the Star Wars toys, but I had these. They were flogging them cheap in John Menzies because they were the neutered versions (no eye-ball gouging projectiles) and we were poor. sad

But great toys. I used slaver over the wee catalogue that came in the box. Until I discovered my Dad's porn mags...

Sold all of them, boxed and all, on ebay a year or two ago. No great money (neutered versions) but gone to a good home.

smile

Yes, it is attached. The value would be utterly subjective, but my last boyfriend was very keen.

I had a LOT of lego's. Gave it all to my nephews.

I played this for hours. It paved the way for Donkey Kong, Super Mario and Tetris.

This says a lot about my future life.

An older version of these:

My kids loved these too - and still play with them now (aged 3 and 5).
I've brought these for loads of kids in the past and they have all loved them.
