my house is in the starting phases of being "reworked"...just enough so we can sell it...it's amazing what you'll live with when you've been there for such a long time...but the thought of trying to convince somebody else they want to buy it opens your eyes to all sorts of problems...  | |

Very nice!  I love the dark furniture up against the light walls. I recently remodeled my bedroom and chose a similar color scheme. It's very relaxing and I love it.

Cuddles - Sorry but after 35 years, I had to get rid of that paneling.Thanks for the knob advice. I still don't know if I'm going to refurbish the ones I have or buy new antique looking ones. Efan - Unfortunately the color splash is just there because it gets damn cold in my room. It was unintentional but it kinda worked. Jason - Everything in that room had to be done twice. I work by trial and error. You are totally right. I started working on this room and I started noticing what is wrong with the rest of the house. Julie - Send me your bats!!! They are sooo cute.
