Psychonauts is supposed to be pretty good, though I can't say I have actually played it.
I liked Beyond Good and Evil on Gamecube, but it's also on PS2. And the Jak and Daxter series was pretty decent

I also meant to mention Shadow of the Colossus. It's a slight departure from the games and genres you mentioned, but not too bad. It's primarily platforming but at times has the feel of a puzzle game. It's not as vibrant as a Ratchet and Clank game, it's very gray and at times depressing...but still a good game. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Also katamari damacy, god of War I and II (both very violent) Psychonauts is also very good. It really should have done much better. OKAMI is good simular to the ZELDA games. Final Fantasy X or XII (or for an easier game X2) Kingdom Hearts! (final fantasy meets micky mouse!) metal gear solid and the Grand Theft Auto games "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Also, Vice City Stories, and Liberty City Stories. Simpsons: Hit and Run, and Family Guy are great games too, well, if you like those shows. Mission Impossible: Operation Surma is another good one. And of course, all OO7 games for PS2 are excellent. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

Also, Vice City Stories, and Liberty City Stories. Absolutely. I just pre-ordered GTA IV: Lost & the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony for the PS3. Can't wait until March 30!!!!!

Jak and Daxter is an awesome game...you go around collecting these egg orbs and go on different missions..cool stuff. It's one of those free roaming games, like a virtual world.
Start with the first one though (it's the best)...they get progressively worse as they go on. [Edited 2/10/10 14:26pm] Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
