Can you still lock people in sheds and force them to make garden gnome in Sims?

Well I dont if thats true. An old colleague of mine told me stories of what he was doing on the Sims. Some of which were bizarre like that!

I don't play many games on the PC, but when I did it was almost all real time strategy games, Age of Empires, Starcraft, etc. Now I mostly just play XBOX. Usually I play whatever my daughter wants to play. That is either UFC or some cheap downloaded games from XBOX Live.

I'm a gamer (all consoles). I have several emulators on my PC, and play games with those occasionally. I'm going to get "Sims 3" for PC eventually too, unless it's released for PS3 and/or 360 soon.

I'm a retro gamer. I like the games that were produced in the 1980s and early-90s the most. There's some good more recent stuff on the net too (such as "n" or "Echoes"). Simple games that you can play for 10-60 minutes for relaxation are the best. I couldn't imagine having the time anymore for the big, commercial titles that may take weeks or months to complete. I used to like the old RPGs like the first Ultimas or the AD&D, Dungeon Master -type of stuff. But I really don't have the time for them either.

My favourite game is probably IK+ from Commodore 64.

(Jump kicking someone from the back isn't recommended in real life, kids)

I never cared much for flight simulator type of games. Not to mention, racecar type of nonsense. Strategy is mostly boring.

What are you useless at? I used to like them, but Myst-type games annoy the fuck out of me now.

I don't own a console right now, but I'd still consider myself a gamer. I played a lot of games from when I had an Amstrad CPC-464, through a GX-4000 console (anyone remember those? lol ), Megadrive, Mega-CD, PS1 and PS2. These days I just play the odd PS3 game at a friend's house, plus Track Mania Nations Forever online.

I'd say I'm really quite good at racing games and not too bad at first person shooters. I suck at those war strategy games.

On Track Mania I'm ranked 4th in Thailand out of 2000+ and been as high as 2.5k out of 3.5 million in the world rankings. mr.green

Just some of my favourite games...

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun
Final Fantasy VII
God of War 2
Any Colin Mcrae game, or DIRT
Assassin's Creed 1 & 2
GTA: Vice City
Any really good F1 games all the way back to Microprose F1 on the PC
Duke Nukem
Call of Duty (I think number 2?)
Black
Fight Night 2

Just the kind of stuff I enjoy playing smile

Yeah she loves it. It usually turns into a real life MMA match afterward. But she actually got surprisingly good at it for an 8-year-old. She got pretty good at the transitions, reversals, and takedowns. Lately we've been playing Castle Crashers and Rocket Riot from Live Arcade. She loves playing video games and watching sports with me. She got to stay up late to root for the Saints.

A long, long, long , long time from now...some lucky guy is gonna thank me.
