A New Breed of Screwed Up

Sometimes I wish I had superpowers so I could suddenly become youthful and beat the shit outta some of these young people.....they sincerely think they are untouchable.

Some chic pulled out a camera and took pictures of my 13 year old (without her permission etc.) while she was changing for her gym class and she happened to (thankfully) see the camera. This girl also photographed the girl in the bathroom stall while she was urinating. WTF!!!!

I know we did uncool things growing up but not shit like this.....WTF is wrong with this generation....they are a new breed of screwed up.
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Its just the same old thing, but with different tech. Bullying will always be a factor in life.

Teach your kids to confront it, own it, shove it, down the bullys face. Its the only way to take away the power.

Teach some mad photo, facebook, twitter skills.

Thats awful.

im mindful of uploading anything to the net..especially school pics of my rugrat.
if there is another child in the pic, and i dont have permission...i will crop the picture.
seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

I'm with you on cropping others out. I am so irritated when folks post pics of themselves that look "great" and ignore the fact that the person next to them is caught mid blink or something. i dont post pics of others either (except maybe my kids and even then I do ask...) I now avoid cameras like the plauge because I dont want an "unauthorized" pic of me ending up on facebook. Shit...my high school pics are all over it already. You never know if somebody has a stalker or something...and posting pics tells more info than people realize.

My girl handled it...but the sad part is, the same thing happened to another girl and she never said anything. The stuff they do now is a little worse than just getting your ass kicked over and over. Its now global humiliation....I'm thinking about putting my girl in a jujitsu (spelling) class so she can tap a bitch out if there is an unwanted photo taken lol

I remember this kid who went to my highschool who got humilated online. Someone got hold of a picture of him naked and sent it to everybody. Some of us didn't even know the guy, opened our inboxes on Myspace and there it was

I felt sorry for him disbelief

See...stuff like that will make some people snap and start shooting. I'm sorry...but there is some stuff I just was NEVER capable of doing to somebody. I might peek at you through a keyhole and laugh, but take a picture and make it public--thats just not something I would ever do to somebody

I never understood the bullshit drama of junior high and highschool, it was so pointless, which is why I tried my hardest to stay out of it. And kids are becoming more disrespectful and cruel these days disbelief

They're goddamn morons. I had a discussion recently with a cute orger who is from another country. He mentioned that when one of his friends would come to the US as an exchange student, they were always the smartest in the American class here. I agreed that there is a huge dumbing down of America in so many ways. The 20 something right now are so stupid (not all, I know, so don't bitch).

I made the point that 30 years ago before we had the internet and cell phones, test scores were a lot higher, and overall people left school a lot smarter. We HAD to do the work to pass a class.

Today, the world is literally and figuratively at our fingertips. Our children aren't immigrants to this world like someone my age, but rather they're natives. 100% more technology than ever before, yet they're about 75% more stupid and clueless to common sense. The simple courtesies in life are long gone. "Man forget it, girl's got no home training."

It irritates the fuck out of me when I check out and I say "thank", and I get either "yup" or "you're welcome". No you little shit, you say "thank you" as well. It's the customers that keep your business in tact, your job secure, and money in your pocket. You're not doing ME a favor by checking me out. You're here for the customer. Say THANK YOU once in a while.

If the 80's were ever the ME generation (and we were), then the generation behind me is the greediest and dumbest fucking generation yet.

People should watch Idiocracy. That's going to be our world in 50 years.
