The Saints became the first team in NFL history to win the Super Bowl after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Peyton Manning continues his legacy as an overrated, corporate endorsed, non-deserving of ANY of his MVPs, stats are a result of pussified rules in the quarterback era of the NFL, big head Tom Hanks looking choker in the big game since his days as a UT Vol. woot!

You know, except that Super Bowl title he won... lol

Besides, the man hit Dallas Clark in something close to quintuple coverage! Seriously, almost half of the defense was covering him! That's still my pick for play of the game. Damned impressive!

I heard a sportscaster say the Colts are the Atlanta Braves of the NFL.

I can see that, but that means Peyton Manning is Greg Maddux or Tom Glavine, and those are two of the best pitchers of the last 50 years. Which is probably true about Manning.

Also, I liked the Bud Light commercial where they thought the asteroid was going to blow up the Earth so they partied like it was 1999.

The Who put me to sleep. Roger Daltery lost his voice. Too bad, because he had one of the best rock voices ever.

And am I the only one that remembers Prince broadcasting a "Thank You" commercial after his performance? That was pure, 100% class.

I said in the other thread that the Saints had to play unpredictable to contain Manning and win the game and that's what they did...nooobody saw that onside kick coming, that was BOLD!

Sean Peyton did a masterful job of coaching and Brees was on point throughout. I tried to tell my son this wasn't gonna be no cakewalk for the Colts but he didn't believe me, LOL!

Everybody's talking about the onside kick and the interception/TD, but did y'all see that goal line stand at the end? I ain't neva seen no isht like that in the super bowl...damn!

Great game. Congrats and much respect to the Saints. I'm thrilled for the city of New Orleans after what they've been through.

Party time on Bourbon Street...WHO DAT! dancing jig party woot!

My favorite commercial, hands down, was the one with Brett Farve making a retirement speech in the year 2045, that was hilarious, lol

I have nothing but respect for Peyton Manning but I had a hunch that if the Saints did the unexpected it would work to their advantage 'cause Manning's approach is more methodical.

Prince's status as the best halftime act ever was not threatened by The Who in any way, shape or form tonight, lol

That onside kick was hellacool.

To me, the turning point was in the second quarter. I don't know what adjustments the Saints defensive coaches made at the end of the first quarter, but whatever they were, they worked.

New Orleans outscored the Colts 31 - 7 in quarters two - four, and it really wasn't even that close.

I tell ya, all the sportscasters were predicting a high score by the Colts but the Saint did an excellent job of containing them after the first quarter and they just cold shut 'em down at the end.

Everything I have read has labelled this game a comeback win, which it technically was, but really it never felt like that. There was never a moment where desperation seemed to set it and winning seemed unthinkable.
