I've thought about not even having a funeral.. I just think it's such a racket!

I'd rather my family use the money they would have spent on a funeral to live a good life.

I've really been thinking about being cremated..and having my ashes scattered in Big Bend country.. or one of my other favorite places to hike..

If I were to die today then probably quite a lot. I have a big family.

On the other hand, I'm not a Christian. So I doubt too many people would be that interested in watching me getting cremated.

I am imagining a Viking funeral in my head though. The great warriors were often burned together with their ships. hmmm

I used to tease my mother for years that when I die I should be cremated and mixed together with porridge. My relatives would have to eat that in order to get my stuff.

I don't think I will care who attends at that point, I wouldn't know anyway, so...

i will not be having a funeral and even if i were, aside from maybe 50 people or so, it would probably be attended by a bunch of people who didn't give a damn about me alive.

That's more or less how I feel. I've told my parents and those close to me that I don't want a funeral should I happen to go early. I would prefer that any money that would be spent on a funeral be used instead to throw a party for a small group of people who truly loved me to celebrate my life.

And even that's not necessary.

Thousands, so I've set up a savings account to pay for the party I'm going to posthumously throw for them.

I would hope I have a lot of people there but there would probably be a lot of them there just to make sure that I'm really dead and not coming back. lol

I don't know, but I want an Irish wake. When someone dies, we all get together at a pub or someone's home and drink and tell stories about the person, laughing and crying, and playing music.

I want everyone who loved me to get together and have a great party. party

It depends when I die, ya know? If I die when I'm 90 and all my friends have already died, then it will probably only be my nieces and nephews. And my 23 cats. neutral

If I died tomorrow it would be a bit larger than just a couple of people. But some people are weird about funerals, so you really never can tell.

I don't have much of an interest for instruments from that era, so definitely not more than 300€. I think people are currently trying to sell just about everything several decades old at inflated prices though. Those will usually also have all the typical ROM -battery / etc. problems.

The M1 is available also as a VST instrument on the Korg Legacy Digital Edition. Given that it's an entirely digital keyboard, I doubt the differences are that great.

i am not having a funeral, I don't have children and I expect to outlive my mother. My only heir is my nephew and he can do away with me as cheaply as possible so he can keep more of my money to enjoy. I may request he raise a glass to me and say a silent prayer of thanks to old Aunty Joyful smile
