All Trees Worship

Inspired by the silhouette of a tree against the Twilight Sky while talking with my father a few months ago....

Arteries grow in the depths
bursting forth in search of light
Reaching high up in the sky
wooden fingers show their might

bark for skin,
leaves adorn
treefingers never mourn

The sun moves high above
birds alight, the peaceful dove
branches span for all to see
birds and bugs and little bee

Sometimes bare, sometimes bloom
Wooden veins provide much room
for creatures come and creatures go
natures arms flourish and grow

Tree fingers never tire,
Only folding in the fire
Trees are always reaching for the light
always worship day and night

Churches full of people's arms
raised up high towards Godly charms
People worship here and there
Trees worship everywhere
